K100 GrandPower

I have no personal experience with them, but Chech/Slovak firearms in general tend to be very well made. They have a long history of making top notch stuff.

There were some very favourable reviews 6 or so months ago. The designer/owner? is a member here and posted several updates, and pics of different versions not available in Canada (yet).

It seems that the gun generated a fair amount of interest when it was first released but it does not seem like a whole bunch of people went out and actually bought them (perhaps availability was limited?) Either that or the owners don't want to discuss their experiences for some reason. The bottom line is that K100 is a new gun from a new firearms manufacturer and as thus, its long-term reliability/durability is unknown.

You need to use the SEARCH feature, there are at least a half a dozen threads on these guns, maybe more, with a ton of info in them.

Mine works Great. Only have about 600 trouble free rounds through it so far. The grip is very comfortable and recoil seems softer than the other 9mm's I own.

Auggie D.

I have about 2K through mine. Very comfortable gun for me. As noted there has been a fair amount of posts...

The only issue I had with mine is Omen shoots too fast ;) and could cause it to jam on the last round in the mag (after a string of 9). Turned out the radius on the feedramp on the earlier versions contributed to this (per Yaro, the mfg). My understanding is this has been corrected for future models. I know Omen was interested in it for IPSC, but supply was an issue (still is? Marstar site shows sold out still)

I am extremely happy with it, and it has been very reliable (no f2f for me at all). I also find the Mfg easy to deal with, to a point he contributes to this BB answering questions.

My hope is Marstar in addition to a new shipment of guns brings in all the parts options (FO sight, adjustable rear sight, mags, extended mag release, etc..) to further customize the gun.

Regards, Brent

I was going to get one, but I gave up after waiting 5 months for it to come in...

The only negative thing which I could find with it (other than the jamming mentioned above, but that's supposed to have been fixed) was that the rivet on the slide lock was digging into my thumb joint, but that's the way I was holding the gun with my hand size/shape. Lots of options for the gun, looks good, I just couldn't wait any longer so went with something else.

I have one, I think it's great. Fits me really well. The recoil is more of a shove than a kick. Nice trigger in single action, double action feels more like your typical service pistol. Very short reset on the trigger.

The mags I have really only fit 9 rounds because #10 is t-i-g-h-t as hell. Beats me whether that's typical or not.

The rail on the front is a bit of a mystery because my "universal" TLR-1 light certainly does not fit it.

Anyway, I think it was a hell of a buy for the price. I really enjoy shooting it.

There is the new version of the frame that has a picantinny rail on it. It is already on the market for about 60EUR more than the regular one.

Bought mine the day Martin announced the handgun ban. Only minor complaints so far. Hammer bluing is an off-color purple from rest of gun. Mag release is a bit gritty. I was told how to fix it but am afraid I might bust something if I try and am living with it. Front sight seems a bit too wide for my tastes.

Hand grip is a perfect fit for me. Gun is as accurate as my CZ75 with Bar-Sto match grade drop in barrel. The gun seems to be very strongly built.

I converted numerous CZ mags and they function well when loaded, but inserting can be trouble if empty as the latch in the mag well can get caught in a spring coil.
