K11/31 bayonet.

Where the heck can one find em?
Nothing on the exchange.
Try Google, I did and found some for sale online.

Lots of different bayonets are not often to be found regularly on the EE, that doesn't mean they are not to be found with a little work on the part of the buyer!

K31 bayonets available on EE now & then, ebay has several ... Google and there are numerous from Germany, Switzerland and some across Canada ...

I have one extra available I do not need. 9000### series serial.

The K31 bayonet will fit the K11, but they are different.

I don't know when the Swiss went with both sides sharp, but K11 and earlier Swiss rifles should have a one side sharp, with a deep groove down each side, with a rib on top. It will also fit the K31.

Original K11 bayonets will cost a premium over the K31 types.

The M1918 bayonet is a proper issue bayonet for the K11 (kept making K11s until 1933), as is the M1899, M1914 sawback, and M1889/92 beyonet. With the M1899 and M1889/92 you need to make sure it has the 14mm bore not 15mm bore as they used the same bayonets for their Gewehr 96/11s and 1911s.

None should be sharp on the edge (except the sawback saw), it was sharpened post-service if that was the case.
