K31 and cast bullets

But why?

The K31 never used cast bullets, and the bores on nearly ALL of them are so good that you will NEVER wear them out in your lifetime.

The Swiss rifle is allowed for cast bullet(CBA) matches, in the military rifle div. and it gives one quite a leg up on the competition(I think). It competes against '03 Springfields, Lee Enfields, etc. In this comp. there are diff. div. also for orig. iron sights and scopes.

Now that makes sense. Had me wondering for a bit. One would almost say using a K31 would give you an UNFAIR advantage!

I think the cast bullets would make the K31 a lot better a choice as a purchase becuse finding bullets would not be the issue it is. I have heard of 303 shooters using cast bullets now that all the surplus has dried up. Cast bullets seems ike it would be fun if you are the type of person who likes reloading.
