I just have one concern, with the fading away of GP11 (sooner or later, just matter of time), would K31 eventually lose its value?

Not like Swedish m96, there are many commercial modern rifles on this calibre. K31 is the only one uses 7.5x55. Ammo producers may also lose the interest making more.

Would some one design new modern 7.5x55 bolt action rifles?

Prvi Partizan makes 7.5X55. Costs more than GP11 but available.

It also seems to shoot quite well, at least in my example...

The K31 is an incredibly inexpensive firearm built to a very high standard. There's not really much room for the price to go down on these beauties to start with. I bet they'd run $1500 or better if someone tried to start producing them again...

.
Order a couple of hundred cases and a set of dies. Trade-Ex has them. Bullets are standard .308 diameter that have been around for over a Hundred years. That should last you for twenty years or so if you take care of the brass.

For Military equivalent loads, try Reloader 17. Most Reloader powders are made in Sweden but Reloader 17 is made in Switzerland. A clue to it's usefulness, maybe?

Will ordered brasses be better then those PPU/GP11 ones? Where to order those brass? I was planning finding a effcient way of reusing the GP11 case. Removing the berdan is a big pain and it adds one more step once resizing. Might need to anneal every 5 reloads.

This is exactly what I have done.

WSS has the 480 cases on sale for 299 right now.

I was surprised to see that. Picked up the last one in WPG on the weekend, unless they have more in the back.

I've not shot my K31 because I've not had time to work up a load. The ammo isn't cheap, but it's at least tolerable at $300 and it'll get me shooting.

Any market out there for the used brass? I don't #### with berdan primers.
