I like futzing with design and I am designing a gun based somewhat on the K31 system. However, I'm a bit stumped about some of the engineering, but I have my suspicions. Can anyone take the bolt out of their K31 and peer inside for me and confirm whether or not the raceways are cut in a shallow right-hand helix? I noticed that at the entrance at the back of the K31 receiver, the lugs are canted to the left, do they level out when they reach the breech?
