I just got a K31 rifle! I'm thinking of put a scope on the rifle, the clamp on scope mount from Swiss Products seems good. I read the scope mount only accepts rimfire/airgun rings. does your scope hold zero with airgun rings?? what rings do you use on your K31???
I took my K31 to the range last Sunday, got a 3''x1.5'' (y*x) group at 100 m (10 shots in total,8 in a group, 2 flyers ). I noticed the length of pull is too short for me. I purchased a slip on recoil pad online to increase the LOP, hopefully this can help with my accuracy, anyone else have the same problem?
I'm planning to take my K31 for hunting this year, does a scope help you to aim faster and more accurate? I'm in Ontario, so short to mid distance only...

Avoid see-through 22 rimfire 3/8" rings. They tend to miss the stop on the front of the Swiss Products scope rail.
the 3/8" base rings should have a solid base.

Avoid anything like this:

Should be like so:

40mm objective scope needs Med height rings,

Scope depends on what you want to do with it.
Makers usually have different grades of quality in their line-up.

update:
I'm using Burris mid rimfire steel rings with 2-7x34 redfield scope, it fits the rifle perfectly, after 40 shots, still holding zero, no issue yet. compared with the redfield rimfire rings the Burris rings definitely seems more sturdy. hopefully it helps someone else looking to put a scope on K31

appreciate everyone's reply

mine hold zero. and I've put through at least 1/2 crate of the finest swiss projectile the problem. there's a recoil stop lug at the front. put the furthest one against it.

I mounted mine with a pair of cheap .22 rings I had on hand with a 25 year Tasco 4X scope. At about 200 rd of GP11 it's holding zero fine. The LOP is a tad short for me but doesn't bother my son as much.
Personally I find a low powered scope works better for me than irons as the cross hairs are always in focus on target. The low power ensures a good field of view at closer ranges.

The irons can still be used as the scope is a side mount.
