k31 swiss measurement question

i own a swiss 1911 rifle ............

my question is for a k31 rifle ......... can a member tell me what is measurement from REAR of the front site to the barrel band / sling ??

or
the measurement from front of the rear site, to the barrel band /sling

or both !!

thanks any help most welcomed.

From front of rear sight to rear of front sight/barrel band is 16 3/4"

1 & 29/32" means that it's 3/32 of an inch short of 2 inches.
Guess I should have typed 1 29/32"

Yes, the measurements are from my 1940 Swiss K31 rifle

why?? why not ............lol.............ok reason is a gent i know wanted a cover made to fit over his k31 .........from rear of front site to fnt of rear site. i dont own a k31 and just thought to ask.

yes .............if you peek on ebay i have a bunch of stuff ( that i make ) for the mosin nagant, k98 mauser and the gent asked me to stitch up a cover for his swiss k31. i made 1 for my k11 as well !
