K31 WF Type K inserts. Where can I get them?

Hey CGN,

I purchased a K31 a few years back and am looking for additional inserts for the WF Type K front sight (Diopter Set).

I've been told that Lyman's 17A inserts will fit, but am looking for confirmation before ordering a set. If I can source originals, even better.

Looking for your recommendations and insight!

Pretty straightforward.

- undo the knurled knob at the back of the W&F fore sight.

- gently poke out from the front of the sight any existing 17a insert already in there.

- align the new insert with the slots on either side of the inside of the sight and slide it in.

- replace and screw down the knurled knob. Good to go.

Thanks couldn't figure it out until I noticed the threads and then the WD40 had to come out for a few squirts. GTG
