There was some ammo available last year, but it was fairly expensive and has preety well dried up.
The brass supply is pretty tight in the US also, however the case can be easily made from .284 Win brass usung a .308 shellholder.

use .308 bullets

use win 284 brass just fl size it in 7.5 swiss dies works well and is very easy

the rifles have short chambers so you must seat your bullet shorter then the books say set the length to your rifle (put a bullet in empty case chamber the rnd firmly, extract and measure length i went a few thou shorter)

Mine is a tack driver at 100 yards I use the wc735 surplus powder from higginsons too

Well I just orderd one from him. Also orderd a stiga in .30-06... I wanted to downsize my # of guns already sold 3 rifles and a pistol this week... And im looking at another rifle(and another few on my mind)!

It never ends does it?

I was able to get 100 Graf's/PrviPartizan cases for the rifle from BCRedneck.com. Lee Produces a Ltd Production die, a crimping die and a pilot and shell holder for the 7.5 Swiss that I ordered from Higginsons Powders. As .308 Cal bullets are what they take, you have lots of options. I'm just waiting to take my Tradeex purchased rifle to the range and the reloaded ammunition that I've prepared. Mine had beat up wood, great metal and a great bore as well and I am definitely happy with it!

Cheers,

Frank:)

Can't wait till it gets here, Im hopping to find some ammo at the gunshow this comming weekend(for brass)... but likely not. If im still around next fall I will see how many deer I can bagg with the rifle(if they still have the unlimited free tags). The only con about that is I will likely loose brass in the feild, will have to reserv hunting loads to 5x fired or such brass.

you will love it , if you find GP11 you will find its depressingly acurate. you will ask yourself why did i pay top dollar for guns that shoot half as good.

BTW: work that handel, it need force

Check with P&D for .284 Win brass. Easy enough to resize. I lucked out and also found some new Graf 7.5x55 brass at a local show. It was cheaper than the .284 Win  ?
And definately check your seating depth for each brand of bullets your reloading in it. Different ogives will give different seating depths. I lucked out, as mine is 2.9555 to the lands with both brands I use. Well short of the recommended COL in the book  .

I'm definately gonna have to score me another one. Maybe a 1911 long rifle....Hmmmm....

Higginsons has .284 brass, $25/50,also has the dies. Hornady 150g FMJ's are $18/100 and shoot as well as match bullets in all my rifles.
I have been using the collet neck sizing die with no problems so far.
Here is a GP11 round beside my neck sized round using .284 brass. GP11 is berdan primed BTW.

Pretty much every write-up I read on this, people say not to neck size only. Chambering issues.
I was gonna try neck-sizing mine anyway, with my .308 die. According to my calculations, I'll need a 0.156" shim/spacer to get the collet to the right height. Save me buying another die.

Yeah, I read that too, but have yet to experience any chambering problems. I'm loading the 150's to 2700fps and have got 5 loadings with no problems so far. I'm going to see how many times I can load them before they get sticky, then just FL size and back to neck sizing for the remainder.
