K9 hunting ban for Ontario?!

I heard from a reliable source that there was a proposed ban on all hunting of K9's in Ontario...but that there was a petition going around that opposed this planned action.
Where do I find this petition and sign?
I've seen wolves and coyotes all but sterilize my hunting area and then turn a longing gaze towards the fence line housing our horses. I can not fathom a ban on hunting these varments!
 
I say B S .never happen ,some people were talking about the use of using k9s for hunting but not the hunting off k9s .there are way to many problems with wolfs and coyotes in Ontario to ever stop hunting them ,There is a group of folks that would love to stop us from using sporting dogs for hunting ,and we must do everything to make sure this never happens ,Dutch
 
No the source said there was to be a bann on hunting coyotes and "the threatened gery and algonquin wolve species" that hunters could not distinguish from coyotes. Thus hunting of coyotes and wolves was to be bann.
 
There's no way they could consider a total ban. It definitely would not fly in most parts of the Province. Although, I have heard grumblings in the media about perhaps lobbying for a ban in Central Ontario, especially in WMUs that border Algonquin. But that's just some muppet I heard on the Ceeb quite a while back... Nothing from OFAH yet, and I would hope they would be one of the first groups to know.
 
Are you on crack? Or meth? Cause if you're not perhaps going back go school might help with what appears to be a reading comprehension issue. The link you posted only talks about Algonquin, and duh.... Everyone knows that.

Please NOTE: I said it was an EXPANSION of the link posted.
Key word EXPANSION.....perhaps it is you who has the literacy and drug adDICKtion problem.
I'm asking for information not condemnation. If you don't have anything constructive to post Troll off.

Hadn't thought of looking at the OFHA website for additional info.

Just checked the OFHA web site and found no news regarding this. Either my source was mis informed or OFHA has dropped the ball....my guess is the previous

Which one do you suppose is more likely........ tell your crack dealer to stop telling tall tales, and stop being a gullible dummy.
 
Wolf and coyote hunting are already heavily restricted in almost every part of Ontario that has a wolf population, so I'm not sure how much farther they would want to go...
