K98 .22 conversion question

Hi guys I just picked up a very nice K98 .22 coversion. I have a book on mausers but can't find what the "UYF" on the receiver ring stands for. Any ideas? Thanks

Found it. I think it is "BYF" Mauserwerk Kg Oberndorf. Badly stamped "B"

I tried to take a photo but the stamping and finish makes it too hard to see. The top of the b is worn off and made it look like a U.
It's in nice condition. Remington barrel. Still has one bird on the top of the receiver ring .

Thanks. Research I did was a bit fuzzy on that. A couple of forums stated that South Africa might have had the Remington barrel K98s.
Any idea what the 400 / 25 on the rear sight translates to?

Very nice. I have an Israeli trainer as well. They are usually very good shooters and a lot of fun. Mine hates Winchester ammo as it will get stuck in the chamber but everything else feeds fine. Enjoy
