K98 - Looking for Information and Valuation (lots of pics)

This K98 is from an estate. I'm looking for information and valuation. It's been cleaned and checked over by a gunsmith.

Too bad it's been sporterized - that drops its value by at least half and it winds up in the same boat as .303 Enfields that have been sporterized. $400-ish - maybe a bit more because of the eagles on the receiver.

Not only sported, but a mixmaster, receiver, bolt and striker assembly from different rifles. The gunsmith checked headspace? Fine bore? Its value is as a knockabout sporter. Might be a tough sell at $400.

here's a pic of the bore. The gunsmith didn't have a headspace gauge (or any ammo) in this caliber, so not able to check that.

As others have said, the rifle is a total mix master, even the stock.
