k98 Mauser LSR Reproductions

I see a lot of LSR mounts on ebay and also built by accumounts. Some come with repro scopes as well.

Has anoyone bought and installed one of these? Whats the quality like? What are the repro scopes like? Better or worse then finding an era scope?

The scopes have a poor rep, but the mounts are nice.

Ack, the best mounts are from the Ukraine, but the repro scopes suck and lose their zero.

I mounted a Ukrainian set on an original bcd 4 LSR which was sadly missing the scope/mount. I replaced the scope with a 'bek' once I found one available, but technically my serial number range should have the banded LSR mount. I have not been able to find a nice example of a banded mount. The ringed mounts are pretty nice. The one I got, even had WaA 359 stampings.
