K98 Refurb Serial Stamp

Here is a pic of a restamp

Anybody have any idea who refurbed this thing? The reciever is a ar 43. Just picked it up off the ee & am curious. Thanks for any help you can give.

I believe the Yugo's milled and stamped the side of the bolt handles when they refurbed them. My Yugo refurbed K98 has the stamp in the same spot.

Thanks Steve! Is the serial on the stock vertical or horizontal? The stock sort of looks like a rc so I am trying to figure out if its a restored sporter.

A yugo serial stamp should be parallel to the buttplate.

It sounds like your Ar 43, like my Dot44, escaped the receiver scrub/Yugo Crest too. That is a nice bonus...

Yes a definite Yugo
