Does anyone know about quick release scope mounts for a K98. A freind has one and just bought a original scope for it but the scope apperently has a quick release mechanisim and his rifle doesent have the matching bases. Any idea on what he needs to make it work or where to get it?

Wow, that's quite the nice book! Would like to have a look at that sometime. I'm also looking around for a mauser scope & mounts too, tricky to know what to pick out and what to stay away from. Shop carefully....
