K98 slings

There is a gent in Holland, goes by the name Tommy. He sells original slings. He is well known and sells 100% original stuff. However his price is 175 if i recall correctly for a sling.

You can get lucky on ebay, but be careful of fakes.

Whether or not you want a repro really depends on if you are going to use it, or just have it as part of a collection. I would not trust a 70 year old leather sling, nor should such a relic really be put in harms way IMO.

Landser sold me my repro sling - top notch service from those guys. (including an exchange I had to make on my cleaning rod - my fault)

Unless you have an original matching K98, I would just get a nice repro. I have one on my hunting K98 and it has gotten soaked, scratched, etc. I have originals on my collectable K98's but they are safe queens for the most part. I wouldn't want to take out an original sling for field use and ruin it if it was me. Just my two cents.
