K98s?

Not all RCs are equal. My ax41 has all of the correct period parts, nazi markings and is a shooter. No doubt I could sell it for $650 or more. Not bad considering it was 300 shipped back when they first came over.
 
The reality check is that if you moved down to the USA tomorrow with your Canadian priced $700+ RC K98 and tried to sell it, you won't get anywhere near $700 US for it, because they sell for $400 US because that's all they are worth. Oh woe to the greedy dealer up here. The extra $300 is in the dealers pocket. Is Gold and Silver worth triple the price up in Canada versus the USA? Snap out of it and give your heads a shake! LOL

BTW, how's my performance for picking up an all matching vet bring back K98 for under $500? You can keep your RC K98's at that price! LOL :D

...and yet, SVT40's aren't worth more than $300 up here, but the Murricans will pay $800-$1500 for one.....

It's all about "Supply and Command"... it's not "Rocket Appliances" man! ;)

I will buy ALL of your matching vet bringback K98s for $500 a piece BTW....

Do you even remember like 15 years ago??? I could buy all the matching K98's I wanted for under $500/per unit... Doesn't mean that they should have stayed at that price.

Also, does anyone who owns both a G43 and an SVT40 really think that the G43 costs 10-15 times more than the SVT40 because it is a better made/more reliable, better looking rifle??? ;)

Funny, with that Marstar deal, it comes out to actually more than $300 a piece with taxes and shipping to me.... :confused:

Also, the going prices don't mean that it's necessarily "worth" a said price in terms of quality/workmanship, etc... it's what people are willing to pay... You are not willing to pay such prices, and you are able to find all these amazing deals that us mere mortals are unable to find.. so, good for you! :)

Seriously, to all those cats out there who are still buying Vet Bring Back K98's for $500 all day long, I am green with envy. :D

I bought a vet bringback bolt mm for $400 does that count?

And vet bringback is a loose term.

An all matching rifle in sporter trim is still "all matching", at least whats left of it is. lol
