Some ideas, that should, never die. Does anyopne remember the Pritchard bayonet for the Mk VI Webley? And I seem to remember that the U. S. Navy tried a cutless/pistol combination in the early 1800's. What is the saying about if you don't learn from histories mistakes you are bound to make them again!

well if the guy says " good deal" then one MUST have one- i've always questioned the idea- when i was in, we had bayonets on the smgs, and were told it was effective for "crowd control" - i suppose this is the same concept
