Any feedback?

I'm considering the Mams in 7.62 for my MR308, will have to rethread the barrel but also considering the MAMS in 556 for KAC upper that I will get sometime in "NO idea" time frame....lol

Not as effective as a surefire according to a fellow over on the hide.

I have always looked at the Surefire as an option but never bothered to pull the trigger, I own a TT on my H&KAC and love it.
What are the pros vs cons?

Less recoil, more flash and concussion with the surefire.
Not a big deal in 556, unless your three gunning with it. Cuts recoil to zero, vs 50 % with the tt or battlecomp.
On a 7.62, it's worth it to go for the surefire for maximum recoil reduction.
All my opinion of course, your mileage may vary...

Not sure who is telling you the SF brake has more recoil reduction.

Ballistic Pendulums don't lie and the MAMS is vastly more efficient than the SF two port brake
The MAMS is 55-60%, TT is about 27% Free Recoil Reduction, the BC is around 18%, the SF around 30-35%, the Miceluk Style brake are in the 80%'s (albiet not suppressor compatible)
Longer barrels generally offer better recoil reduction numbers as well on brakes, as their is more pressure in the system, and less of a fireball.

Very few people shoot the same weapon for doing comparisons - and if you don't its apples to oranges.

Flash Hiders generally reduce 4-7% over bare muzzle -- its all part of the science of redirecting the muzzle gasses.

I'm not sure of the 3 Prong none of the customers ever asked, so I've never looked into it.
