One Shot Tactical has it listed under Knights Armament.

Rifle price point?

Ammunition price point?

An inquiring mind would like to know.

I don't think they are available in the US for civilian sale. They are "targeted" at a very specific market. They are a KAC proprietary desgin IIRC.If they were available here I'd have one already.

Hmmmm....Kinda reminds me of an AR equivalent of the Krinkov.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall the above firearms as having a proprietory cartridge/ammunition. Even if you get one, can you feed the little bugger?

That's right it's a 6mm cartridge - the whole thing was designed to work as a system - rather than using 5.56 from a barrel length that stops it from doing it's job properly, they designed the cartridge and the gun to work together. For example, the cartridge is designed to burn all of it's propellant in the barrel to reduce flash and blast, and the bullet is specifically designed to function in the velocity range available from the muzzle to the maximum effective range. That's design done right. The last time anybody really made an effort to do this was the 1911 pistol.

Not even for US citizens, let alone other countries civies. From what I have heard (and a bit from KevinB) KAC is trying to get the ammo manufacturer (whom I believe is the source of the restrictions) to release the ammo to civilians, since its normally an armor piercing round.

Again, cant verify any of that so take it with a grain of salt.

It is a very nice system but from the civilian perspective, especially in Canada, it will be even worse than the PS90 and 5-7 in finding ammuntiion. Even after so many years, 6.8 is still expensive and spotty in supply. Reasonably priced practise ammunition is still nowhere to be seen.

Im sure like for every other odd ball cartridge (aside from the 5.7 and the issue of the fancy coating on the cases) out there reloading would be a simple solution to lack of ammo supply... there is a ton of 6mm bullets already available. Does anyone know what the parent case is for the 6x35? just for knowledge's sake?
