This gun looks amazing. Why haven't I never heard of it before?

Can it be had in Canada? Do they still make it? I couldn't see it on their site.

EDIT: Researched more... Rock River Arms makes the gun as the LAR-47... Can this be had in Canada?

looks cool, but a piston upper on a reg ar lower would be better since you have 10 round 7.62x39 pistol mags available and not so with ak mags

Iirc the sr-47 was shelved years ago.

They only made a very limited number of them, less than 100 I read somewhere. However, Rock River makes a new version that also takes stock AK 47 mags. Hopefully Questar or someone will bring some in.

If I recall right Alex Robinson (Robinsonarm) stated the SR-47 was created to compete in the US Army trial on a multi caliber gun which everyone had problem because of the variance in AK47 magazine out there.

Probably prohib, since after all the RCMP issue whiskey, hookers and cocaine are consumed the outline looks vaguely like an AK-47. Also it has "47" in the name... Which also makes it a varient..
