"Every nation gets the government it deserves." - Joseph de Maistre. Trudeau didn't seize power by force; he was elected by our countrymen (and countrywomen). The people who loved Canada and sacrificed for it lived a long time ago, for the most part. The Canada of today has very little in common, except for geographical location, with the Canada that those folks fought and died for. So while I wouldn't say “fvck this country” like the other guy, let’s not have any illusions about this 21st century "Canada" that we live in. A country is a reflection of the people that inhabit it. And two thirds of Canadians are liberals and socialists. Many of them don’t like Trudeau because they think he’s not left-wing enough.
