Kar 98az help

Hello gents,

I’m starting into the process of restoring a 1917 Kar 98az. I’d appreciate any help with finding the right parts or a place to borrow a stock from to copy.

Yeah I checked his out but damn $500 is a lot for a stock.

I do not think that such a restoration can be done without alot of cash up front. Any part will be expensive and hard to find.

This, its only money (that seems worth less each passing day now) and as they say, Quality only hurts once. Best of luck trying copy and make a repro stock.

Gewehr 98AZ uses a completely different stock, it is a small ring mauser action and the 98K has a large ring action.
