Hi Guys!

I finally was able to take my new Mauser to the range last week and found it shooting low.

Does anyone have ideas on how to adjust the front sight on one of these?

Change bullet to a lighter one or move up the ladder sight 1 notch.

Funny, usually they're high. 300m zero is a number that comes up here quite often.

A fair bit depends upon the barrel-whip on firing of the individual rifle..... which changes with different loadings.

A heavier loading or a heavier bullet could well shoot higher, believe it or not.

What ammo was being used?

What range were you shooting at?

I was using Privi 198 grains 8mm Mauser if that help.
