Kassnar 12 guagd semi auto

Hi guys my dad was looking for a decent semi-auto for turkey Hunting and yesterday called me and said he found a Kassnar 12 guage which he traded for an old Lee Enfield.

Any comments on that brand? I know they are Japanesse but are the valuable ? Sought after ?

I personally think he should find a more common 12 for hunting. Pics will be up this weekend when I go and visit him.

Kassnar imported many semi-auto shotguns from many different makers...so some were made in Japan, Italy, Turkey...

Do you know what model he has?

It looks like it would be the Japanase Nikko built shotgun then. They where also imported and sold by Weatherby, Charles Daly and High Standard to name a few. Not bad guns at all but parts will be hard to come by if they break.
