Hey guys, I recently purchased $120 worth of KCI G21 mags and needless to say, I could not get through an entire magazine without atleast 1 stoppage, normally 2. I have a single Glock brand 10/10 magazine that has never had a hiccup, which is my experience with all Glock magazines. My question is, are these normally unreliable? I ruled out ammunition as I used a 250 round box of Remington UMC 230 gr. through 2 different firearms with 6 different magazines with the KCI only giving me trouble. They actually managed to feed the rounds into the chamber area backwards, getting hung up obviously, which I have never seen before. Should I return these mags and just put an ad on the EE for Glock brand mags?

Can't speak specifically about the pistol mags, but in the other rifle forums they have had pretty consistent negative reviews. It's unfortunate that some of us have to "bite the bullet" on some of these inferior products but I thank you sir and many others so I may steer clear! Haha
I used to say to people, "never buy the KCI mags".
Now I tell early Gen3 G17 owners, "buy at least one". It's pretty much your only hope of getting decent IA drill practice in without screwing around with hiding snap caps in your mags.

I mix rounds with spent primers, no powder and bullets seated into my big tub of reloads to get IA practice with the M&P, because KCI doesn't make an M&P mag.

I used to do that with my reloads too but ever since I started reloading BEFORE drinking I had to switch to a different system.
