I picked up 5 of the 17 round mags pinned to 10 from a sponsor. There is a definite difference between these and OEM. The first mag, the follower got stuck in the one round loaded position because the edge got caught on some excess plastic moulding around the edge of the mag lips. I subsequently disassembled all 5 mags, and trimmed excess plastic from the mag lips with an Exacto knife. It seems to have fixed the followers from binding near the top. Incidentally, the interior of the mags were quite dirty, with bits of plastic, and small metallic dust in the interior as well. A few passes with my mag brush fixed that. The spring seems to be good quality, not painted as I've seen in some other online reviews. I'm going to see how they work with a genuine Glock follower, as the one KCI includes is fairly flimsy feeling.

I'll update after I've had a chance to try them at the range.

Another problem is that these mags usually do not drop freely, and you need to pull them out of your Glock.

These becomes an issue in action games.

I recommend to everyone to buy Glock OEM mags only.

For a few extra bucks, its worth it to go OEM. Worst that will happen if you do lots of action type shooting, is replacing the floor plates which are dirt cheap

Just got two of them today, a 17 rounder and the 31 rounder. I got them for my Keltek Sub 2000 and both seem fine, drop free and no problems chambering a round even with only one in the mag, took them apart and they are plenty clean. I was even admiring the quality of the rivet in it. Very well made IMO. No complaints from me yet. Maybe you just got bad batch

The cost savings is usually only around 5-8 bucks, not worth it at all imo. Sporteque has OEM Glock mags for 40 dollars including the tax.

all of mine work fine and drop free after some TLC. Few of mine did need updated followers.

1. Polish internal liner
2. Polish internal rivet

It's not just a cost savings of 10 bucks, when you consider that they are pinned 17 rounders. Point me to $40 pinned mags, where I don't have to buy them 2 at a time in the US and pay int'l shipping, then maybe. I also suspect they will work fine now that I've cleaned them up.

We get hosed in Canada compared to US prices for Glock mags, so I'll take any chance I can to support vendors who are willing to get us closer. I already have 5 OEM mags, and will buy more if I see them priced well.

My friend have both OEM and KCI. Thb, I am not a fan of any reproduction/knock off but if it work for you then it's all good. My opinion is for the price difference, it's not worth it.
