Keg River Bear

The bear was seen beside the highway in the Hawk Hills area but I wanted to show the picture to a fellow who goes by "Keg River" on another site.

Keg, if you are here too, here is an interesting bear for you to look out for.

NIce coloured bear !! Looks young.

My buddy was down the Chin Road to Hamburg yesterday- seen nothing but bears...a seen a sweet blondie as well. Rifle season in there starts Sept.1

I think rifle up by Keg River is Sept 17th.

Not unusual to see those young bears really light in colour for the first couple years and then they seem to turn darker. I've seen a fair number over the years that looked like this and it likely explains why there are very few older, very light bears.

No that would be "Beer Keg River".

I've seen bears like that before in the Keg River area. It is always nice seeing them. Keg bears run the gamut of colors.

Duffy how far from the second hawk hills road was this bear? there is lots of bears around but i'm sure it has been in my cameras a few times this summer
