Hey folks, I've been looking into the little nonR Kel-tec CMR30 and they seem like a fun little gun to shoot. I'm aware that they are a little ammo picky and have their quirks but I think they are really interesting... I mean a 16" nonR PDW type platform with 10rnd mags and a collapsible stock? Pretty damn sweet. In the nonR version the overall length with stock extended is 39.9" and the overall collapsed is 26.9" (the R version collapses all the way down to 22.9). Anyway just wanted to see if any of y'all have owned them or shot them and what are your thoughts on em?

Any range reports?
Had mine for a couple of months now and I love it, so does my wife. I originally reported on the IRunguns thread that I was having trouble with feeding the second round with the winchester X ammo, it turns out it was my loading of the mag. I would tap it after every 5 rounds but you need to give it a good smack, I just recieved 2 new mags and doing this when I load makes everything cycle fine. Great accurate rifle.

Why do you need to pin the mags at 10?
Because the same mag is used for the PMR-30 pistol, so RCMP have classed the mag as dual purpose
