Kel-Tec KSG Question

I recently received a kel-tec KSG (newest version) and roughly put 50 rounds through it yesterday and its great! The only thing I'm not a fan about is the cheap magazine followers. I have 2 new sj hardware hiviz green 870 followers kicking around in the parts bin. they look almost identical to the aftermarket ones being sold online. They should fit and function fine in the KSG right? Does the inside of a 12g magazine tube vary in size really? I just don't want to go through the hassle of removing the magazine caps if they don't fit as its not the easiest job on a KSG, and i'm going to have to make some tools to get the job done.

Anyone replace the followers on theirs?
 
Do they work fine?

If no: then replacement is advisable.

If yes: What are you whining about? Who cares if they look "cheap", if they work fine why bother replacing them?
 
I ended up swapping them out, regular 870 mag followers fit and function fine. I ended up switching them out cause the original followers move very rough in the tube so I wanted to clean them out and wanted something hi-viz so I can easily see how many rounds I have left. I will warn everyone that its not an easy task, I ended up talking to something at my local range who lent me the proper tools for the job, but it was a lot harder then expected to get done.
