Kel Tec PMR 30 anyone care to comment?

I am intrigued by this pistol, it shoots 22 WMR, relatively cheap ammo, 250 rds for $60. Has a little more power than a 22 LR. Price is in the $575-$600 range plus tax and shipping.

I'm considering one for the "unique factor", you know at the range when people ask you have a story for them...
Anyways, my concern is that it's a polymer pistol, and reading reviews it seems like there are quality issues with it.

Anyone have anything to say from ownership and/or experience with one, to help me tip the scale either way on a decision?

I have had mine for more than a year and have fires a few hundred rounds through it, from three different mags, and have had only 1 or 2 "failure - to - feed" problems. Mine has the light fluted barrel (I have read that later models have unfluted barrels). I really enjoy shooting mine and find it more accurate than what I can hold / shoot. I have used 6 different types of ammo in it, ranging from 40gr solid, 40gr soft and HP, 45gr Dyno point, and the CCI shotshells.

The pistol is very light and shots are very noisy with a large muzzle flash.

Ditto, "0" issues with mine. I lost the slide pin while cleaning it at the range and sent KelTech an email looking for a price on the part and they sent it out the same day, no charge.
 
I'm pretty sure my had some serious hardening issues with the barrel. Still waiting on vault to hear back exactly what is going on.

i did love it tho, till it blow up in my face
