I was browsing the web for news and I found this little tidbit of news.

At shot show the rdb and m43 was advertise as msr being 2000 and 2500-2800$ respectively but last month at the nra convention they were anounce to be 1500$ and 1800$ respectively subject to change.

Also, the charging handle has ben change from reciprocating to a non reciprocating handle. It does not make a difference to me, personally I prefer the reciprocating handle as you can assit it forward, but I know allot of you guy's prefer the non reciprocating.

So with this news I am back on board and looking for a dealer taking pre orders!

Cheapest way to get one might be to have IRUNGUNS to bring it in... And, with our dollar in the tank, sitting at 91 or 92 cents, that factors into the price as well...

Cheers
Jay

I think if they keep it under 2k in canada they wont be able to keep it on the shelf.

I mean the thing just have pretty good features:
-top rail
-ambidextrous: sling point, safty leaver, charging handle
-non reciprocating charging handle
-tavor style mag release
-use ar mag
-rotating ak/t97 type bolt
-ar style barrel lock up
-downward behind the mag ejection
-threaded barrel
-bottom rail

Seems preatu good to me!

Here is another video with good and a potential really bad news.

The bolt can be lock back the same way as the hk mp5(1.46)

The potential bad news is a "easily" removable trigger pack a la ar-15 with available select fire pack I am assumming for military customer.

Even if you disregard all of these, they would still be more, because we're all rich up here.
Have a look at AR prices.

Since you've got it all figured out, why don't you open up a business and retail these items for prices that compete with American prices? There's plenty of room for profit, right? After all, if you don't charge the "Canadian" fee as you put it, you can still make a good living and give us rock bottom prices!

By the way, I've issued this challenge to many people before. Nobody has followed through and put their money where their mouth is.

Ya I'll get right on that.
Maybe you can explain why the same book is 30% more up here or the same new car is 30% more.

That is, as long as our cheeky friends at the RCMP skunk-lab decide we can be trusted with it...

BTW: I've already been a busy little beaver, emailing both Kel-Tec and Vault distribution (Canadian Kel-Tec distributor) about the RDB/M43...

Here are some responses:

Vault:

Unfortunately the M43 wont be available till some time in early 2015. A long ways to go yet. If were lucky, Kel-Tec will have a prototype to us by the end of Summer, so we can submit it to the RCMP, to get it approved for legal sale in Canada.

Thank you

Kel-Tec:

I'm not sure what the M43 is, but we are introducing a new 5.56 bullpup hopefully by the end of the year.

And they attached this flyer, which clearly shows the M43 (Kel-Tec "Customer Service" is really just a bunch of dummys):

How fancy they dont know whar a m43 is lol

Its a shame that since they got Chad running around with a rdb prototype showing it off to everyone , they can't ship one the the rcmp lab to get things moving.
