Been looking for a su-16a (sporter stock cheap version) with no luck. Do any of you guys know which store have em in stock?
Also is this a good rifle for just plinking and coyote hunting?
Cheers

I run Guns might have em.

I had a couple ,with no issues.
And my buddy still uses one.
There have been a few with the back blown out.

Having said that,I wouldn't buy another one.

For $700, why not though.

I would highly recommend the Tactical versions over the A version. Unless you've already handled one, I think ull be disappointed by how flimsy and cheap the stock feels on that version.

I run guns don't have em in stock. If I go with the tac model, I might as well just add a few hundred and get a Vz with at mag adapter, or get a used tavor or something.

They have a tactical model $638 us.
Not sure of the barrel length though.

The XCR is much nicer, a nice bit heavier though.
$1800 should get a used one:)

I sold my previous two for about $1800.
They were both keymod versions.

I bought one for the wife from siwash sports in chilliwack bc. Decent rifle for the price in my opinion. Have yet to have any issues with it and the rounds go where you point it. She likes it because it is super light and I like it for the same reason when I fold the stock up and put it in my pack when I go hiking or camping. I was in siwash the other day I I think they have one on the wall so might try giving them a call.

I bought one of them green jobs with a folding stock and a cheap red dot sight (su 16 predator I believe) but never shot it...is it one of the better ones or one of the crappy ones I should never have bought?

Ya,that's the one I had, I put a 100 or so rounds through it,and sold it for $700.
I liked the tactical model better.

The gas block sight is better in my opinion than the barrel mounted one. I have had a few of them, no complaints. But around January (hopefully!) the RDB should start popping up here. No idea on the price, it will be more than the su-16 but who know how much. Based on purely my speculation I would think around 12-1500. Might be worth the wait, time will tell.

Ğood little rifle . 100 yard gun with open sights no problem . My little Nephew has layed clame to it ( likes it more than a 22 auto ) got mine from I run guns last year under 800.00$ . I wasn't impressed with the stock ( feels flimsy) but it shoots just fine with it ( holds two extra mags ) take down is different but is doable . Just don't lose the pin .
