Kel-Tec SU-16f

I dont want to kill any dreams here, but I own one of these. It's picky on what it eats. It blew out primers on over 60% of winchester 223 55gr ammo, and is cratoring the primers on american eagle stuff. I tried a 5.56 round, blew the primer and blew out the bottom of the lar15 magazine. I have it on video. It's also loud as hell for a 223. Im thinking mine came from a bad batch. Not sure how to deal with this over pressure issue. The primer bits clogged up the bolt and ended up damaging the firing pin.
I would treat this more of a toy then an actual shooter.

If it blows primers, return to dealer. Why would you keep shooting it?
As for the noise... it's not going to make .223 any louder then they normally are.

Mine has never had any such issues. few hundred rounds threw it.

I did talk to them about it. They told me to go through their distributor which they wouldnt name. Sounds fishy to me. Thanks p&d. Its only cratoring american eagle ammo, not blowing the primers.

That's ####ty. Cratering or blowing em, they shouldn't do that and it's not the first one I heard doing that. Might want to contact Vault Distributing, as they handle all import of the SU16

Well I got the TufForce quadrail for the FAL in and mounted on the SU. Took just over an hr and it's done. It's a little more work than the CASV took but it offers as much rail estate and the upper rail removes so the gas tube can be removed for cleaning while the rest stays put.
