Kel-Tec SU16E .223 REM 18.5″Non-Restricted IS BACK IN STOCK

How is reliability with a Kel-Tec?

Feed, function, accuracy, cycling, magazine fussy, etc?

Gunnutz people, please jump in........:)
I’ve had one for about a year, I’ve probably fed over 700 rounds of cheap pmc ammo (bronze box) through it and haven’t had issues. I have no problem shooting 1-2 inch groups at 25 meters (longest distance at my club) with the iron sights.
Overall, very fun to shoot. The only thing I wish I could change is the amount of plastic on it.

Yeah it's plasticity and feels weak but damn this thing just works. I've had thousands through mine and it's been flawless

The major issues like the receiver cracking do not seem to be a problem on the newer guns.
My firing pin broke I bought one from numrich its been a year or two still waiting for one from warranty. So warranty here in Canada is bad. Accuracy is acceptable, cycling magazine compatibility is all fine.

Contact Kel Tec themselves. They will help you, even being in Canada. I know for a fsct

Thanks guys!.....:)

I had a BCL Siberian for a sh1t hits the fan rifle, but it constantly jammed, even when clean. It was extremely fussy about the brand of magazines and ammo, still always jammed, seldom stayed open on the last round fired.

I took a $350.00 plus loss on it and sold it. It was probably fixable under warranty (bought new), but I did not want the hassle........:(

A cheaper Keltec might be the answer. I do like the SU16A model in tan color.

May have to wait for a tan colored model.
