This past winter I picked up a sub 2000 and an su 22.Another month or so the bugs will be out and I was wondering if the polymer kel tec builds their guns out of be damaged by insect repellent .

Unless mosquitoes have a PAL,legally they are not allow to touch a firearm without permission and supervision.

On the more serious note most repellents comes in cheap plastic bottles they seems to hold up just fine, I would say the polymer on your firearm that can withstand gun cleaners will be safe.

Of course this thread turned into a nostalgia moment of numbed lips and melted plastic. Don't forget that lingering concern at the back of your mind. "Is this stuff actually safe?" Quickly overriden by the pure hatred of the buzzing blood sucking menace.
