Kel-Tec warranty in Canada, have you used it?

Have any of you used it or do you know how it works in Canada? I'm wondering if it's worth spending a little more buying their stuff new to get the warranty.

I had an RFB that fired out of battery and seized up / warped the bolt carrier within the receiver. The rifle was a write-off. I contacted the Canadian disributor who had me ship the gun at their expense to their warranty service guy in Vancouver. One he confirmed that the rifle was a write-off through no fault of mine (factory ammo, etc), I was given a brand-new RFB when the next shipment landed in Canada a month or so later. Overall, I was quite pleased with the service, process and outcome of my Keltec warranty. Nice to know it's there if you should need it....

Yep, but the key is it does have to be an import brought in by Vault Distribution.

That's kinda standard though. Transferable warranty's are more of the exception than the rule, as with most things even outside of the firearms industry.

True, but many people don't think about that when buying a used gun.

Same experience with a PMR30 I owned that exploded at the chamber. Received a brand new one from Vault. Immediately sold it as I had no desire to experience that again.
