I am just wanting to know what the price is for a S-2000. From anyone that has bought one from a dealer lately? The ones that are coming this week don't have mags and are Around $599. What was the price of the ones that were sold with mags a month ago? I don't know 100% but weren't they selling for $599 also?

Keltechs are well known junkers.
"...don't have mags..." Kind of useless.

Pfft, Junkers? Is that because they have a lot of polymer and you don't think a rifle is any good if it isn't all metal? Do you want a compact little carbine to weigh 7 pounds? "Well known" by who? you and....?
I haven't heard many people that actually own one complaining about much other than the sights and mine shoots great. The sights aren't the greatest but they work just fine.
Polymer is in all modern black rifles and the Kel-tec's are no different. they use metal where it's needed and polymer where it's not to save weight. Mine came with a 10 round Glock mag and this is the first I've heard of the dealers stripping the mags prior to sale. I also own an RFB and it has been 100% reliable and I don't regret the purchase of either at all. So in my opinion "junkers" is far from reality.

Useless without a mag? well if your buying one and you don't have any mags from your pistol then maybe but mags are cheap if you shop around and mail order them. I already had a bunch of mags for my pistol when I ordered mine so it wasn't an issue that it only came with 1. I still would have bought it if it came with none though. It has been very reliable and is a great little rifle to pack around in a backpack and is plenty accurate enough for plinking.

What else can you buy for $600 that comes remotely close to this rifle?
Do any other options fold to fit into a backpack?
There are a couple other options that use pistol mags but they are $400+ than the sub2000.
It's accurate?
It's reliable other than the odd stovepipe which seems to happen less and less the more you use it. It seems to prefer 124gr or heavier bullets.
It's easy to clean.
Kel-tec stands behind their product if there are problems.

I haven't had any issues with mine and everyone I've let try it loves shooting it.
