TacticalTeacher

CGN Ultra frequent flyer
Location
Georgian Bay, ON
Hi there, BC Interior M14 lovers....

I can finally say it's official and I'm gonna be there in Kelowna! I realize it's the middle of the week but that's how my calendar is shaking out.

Where:

Joe Rich Gun Club (address to follow)

Location of range and clubhouse is: 13620 Hwy #33. Which is south of Kelowna and just before the hill up to Big White Ski Resort road intersection at Hwy # 33

When:

Tuesday 22 September 2015. One day of clinic tweaking.

Cost:

$ 50 for the DAY

Timing:

Gather for 0830
Casual Start at 0900
Lunch at 12ish to 1ish... might have to bring lunch
Ending at 1600

Registration and Payment:

EMT the $50 to me with this information:

Name: Tactical Teacher
Question: What was your OLD CGN handle? I was not always tacticalteacher, you know.
Answer: hungry (low caps, no spaces) that way I cannot screw things up
Email: hungry556 AT bell.net

Somewhere in the EMT, remind me of your CGN handle AND which clinic it's for (PR or CQB or M14)

What is involved:

- Tools for tweaking, tools to avoid, tools that are nice to have but expensive, tools that are overrated and too expensive
- Gadgets that are nice to have, need to have, and useless to have (but I had to buy it to show you)
- Tools that you can make yourself instead of buying, tools that you can have buddies (owe you favors) make up for you
- Stripping the boomstick (you will be surprised at what I can show you)
- YES we will try to pull your rear sights apart, and then get serious with them
- Assembling the boomstick, and what to look for so that worthwhile tweaks can be or should be made
- Tweaks that work, tweaks that don't work, expensive tweaks so yer #### does not fall off
- Useless tweaks unless you have more money than shooting ability (many stories to follow at the clinic)
- Common pitfalls, expensive tweaks that work, more ways to ensure that yer #### don't fall off
- Lunch and then tweaking in the afternoon to tighten up your prized M14
- Lots of networking and socializing all the time. This is priceless.
- I am set up to install your .308 Win barrel on your receiver and then FINISH Chamber, then you test fire at TSE

Things to bring for Day 1:

* Your M14 rifle or receiver(s) with barrel(s) to be installed
* Your M14 (or two if you got them)
* Notebook, pens, digital camera, rags,
* Ball peen hammer, Allen keys SAE and Metric
* Punches, screwdrivers, more punches
* Plastic or rubber mallet, wood block or 2 or 3
* Masking tape, duct tape
* Anybody got a Black and Decker Workmate? Bring it along, leave it inside the car/truck until we need it.

Questions?

Bring them on!

Cheers and warm regards,

Hey, GUB... you are the pointman... you did all this work so you go for FREE!

I won't cash in your EMT...
Tfunfer and Canuck1978, your EMT's were both perfectly done~ Thanks!

Lots of room still folks, even if it's the middle of the week. I don't get out there to BC (I'm an Oakridge Boy, 49th and Cambie) enough during the years I've been gone from the Lower Mainland.

BTW...

What separates India from China? Here's testing your GVRD knowledge!

The Fraser River, #####ez!

Barney LOL LOL

Barney, let me know if your coming to the island at all, not that I want to attend a clinic but I want to buy you a beer............

That Farmer's market was cut and paste(d) from the YYC TSE M14 clinic for the Sunday a week prior and their pulled pork poutine is to die for! Worth all the calories and carbs for us Type II diabetics...

hey, stang, can you PM me with your name from the EMT ? Just trying to coordinate your names from the EMT's with the nick names here on CGNutz...

Stand down, stang... I found your name and CGN handle in my paperwork. I have up to SIX EMT deposits at any ONE time. No joking. I am that busy with EIGHT clinics on the go!

Cheers,
