I am thinking of relocating to BC for semi retirement and was wondering what the ranges and clubs offer in the way of IDPA, 3 gun and possibly Cowboy Action shooting. Are there many indoor ranges there?
Thanks for any info

Ken.

I know Salmon Arm has a range and club, but I don't know if they have any active sections in those disciplines. Kelowna is very active with IPSC. Check the Kelowna fish and game club website for more info. Kamloops has the largest range in the area for combined long range(500m), pistol/rifle/shotgun pits (10 pits), short range for rimfire and pistol only (2 pits) and a dedicated archery range with a walking course. Kamloops does some IPSC, 3 gun, and held the cowboy nationals for 2013 and is also hosting the 2014 nationals. Both Kamloops and Kelowna have indoor ranges. Check out KTSA website for Kamloops info.

Heffley Creek (just north of Kamloops) does quite a bit of Cowboy Action shooting, as well as Black Powder Rendevous, and I believe some IdPA and other action shooting.
