Keltec KS7 magazine tube plug

Just wondering what people might be using for a mag tube plug for the KS7? I haven't seen anything out there yet. I don't really want to jam a broomstick in there so was thinking some sort of printed option would be nice.

i cut a steel rod to length and the gun holds two in the tube and no more. hunting legal here in Ont. . it came out of my junk stash and seems to be rust free . possibly galvanized. lucky for me it had a head on it. i ground the head to fit. works great and adds enough weight along with a slip on recoil pad to make the gun enjoyable to shoot. i measured the rod and it is half inch.

Sounds like a solid solution. Do you remember the length? How does it stay in place?

the rod is thirteen and one half inches. it allows two shells in the mag tube with some extra to spare . not sure if it would allow three inch shells but two and three quarter are fine. the rod threads through the mag spring with the head of the rod resting on top of the spring. i also chamfered the end of the rod . the mag spring is not compressed until you load the tube. i am pleased with this gun and am getting a six inch spread with nine pellet 00 buck at twenty yards.

I make plugs from arrow shafts or tent pole sections, the washer at the end is sandwiched between the spring or retainer (depending on how the shotgun is set up) and mag tube nut. It doesn’t rattle around and is easy to remove.
