i bought mine new on the EE. when i got it it didn't function. sold to me by a weasel. you know who you are. FTE. mine was from an earlier batch and they had fluted barrels. well from the experience i had the barrel was buldged and made the brass swell so much that it wouldn't allow the ejection. got a new barrel from distributer, [no warrantee as it was used].works fine now. actually its kinda fun. major flash, loud. lol was disappointed with having to pay for the barrel as apparently they did have issues with the fluted barrels. thought they may have come good for mine as well. sucks as usual to have a 30 rd mag and have to pin them.
Well he bought one, we shall see this weekend

I have one. It's an older one which also has the fluted barrel. The barrel replacement was originally started due to keyholing issues. I have not experienced that. According to Keltec, the problems were actually due to problems with CCI ammunition QC. My gun runs well. It is so light, it can be hard to control. I am a lot more accurate with other handguns. Still, I like it a lot. Of course it would be nice if we could have 30 rounds in it. It barks pretty loud for a .22 mag. That short barrel makes it loud. I'd like to see the longer barrel with the muzzle brake up here. I asked Wanstalls about it but still haven't heard anything. Vault seems to be very slow to respond to anything. Bottom line, it's a good gun.

yes. i screwed up and left feedback before testing the gun..my bad..was awhile ago also, when i bought the new barrel vault dist. had me send the barrel in beforehad to look and never returned it. i know it was nfg but it was still mine in my opinion as i had to pay for the new one.
I also appreciate the flash and noise from mine. Fluted barrel, no issues with Winchester ammo. Have not tried CCI as I read about the potential issues with that brand. It feels very toy-like to me, kind of disturbing until it goes boom x10. I find it to be one of the more accurate handguns in my hands anyway.
Now if only KelTec would marked some RMR mags clearly marked "for rifle only"...
