Keltec RDB flashlight??

Won this gun for a $20 "draw" I'd like to mount it with a flashlight as well as a red dot.
Considering the rail is only on the top I'm worried the light will be all I see thru the optic.
Is there anything out there that will attach to the rail, and offset the light to either side?
Just to make things more difficult I'll add that I'm left handed so ambidextrous is ideal.

You can get off set rings and rail segments. Is your RDB the non pistol grip version with no bottom rail?

Yes, no bottom rail. If I had a choice i would have went with the pistol grip but basically a free gun I cant complain, lol.
No flashlight yet, hoping to buy together when I find some sort of mount

Klarus (the only lights I use) has a great offset mount but doubt on the top rail it would work with a red dot. I have one on my 45/70 with iron sights though and the sight picture lines up perfectly with the offset cutout(designed that way).

45 degree rail off the top rail, or drill the handguard for a rail section, the part that overhangs piston housing would probably be the easiest. Also there are aftermarket forends available for the RDB. Possibly a sling stud to rail adaptor but the angle of the forend may not jive well for light mounting. Alternatively being a bullpup a low mounted light and a high mounted red dot may work just fine, there are a few fairly low light options out there, but they may get gassed by the piston if they are too far forward.

That model looks pretty handy to me, never tried one though.

Uisge has a good point about a compact light likely sitting lower then the red dot, and an even better suggestion on mounting your own rail section of the side of the plastic fore stock.

Caldwell sling stud mounted bi-pod rail would be easy and combined with a quick detach light would put the light in a good location and you can use the mount for a bi-pod as well.

I mocked up a noveske keymod light mount and it looks as though it could fit pretty good up at the front of the handguard, different hardware may be necessary to fit though. I wonder if a guy could drill a couple holes and make a home made keymod attachment point? Hmmmm I really have nothing better to do today.

I don’t know yet lol, the light I planned to use with that mount wouldn’t fit so it was just laying around. Ideally something compact that doesn’t use expensive battery’s or that is rechargeable.

Richard, I got an email from Olight Canada, they are having a sale on the 11th, with all funds generated going towards buying PPE for health care workers in Canada.... they have some nice lights and I saw an offset rail mount for around $17.
