i am well aware its not top shelf quality so lets just skip the badgering lol im just a little curious how this odd looking piece is holding up as far as accuracy and reliability is concerned oh and is that fold out bipod a gimic or does it actually work and not !@#$ out?

um...wrong forum dude

um...is it? It is a non-restricted firearm, therefore it is a hunting/sporting rifle, therefore it is in the right place. I do think he would have better results in the black rifle section... I mean the non-fudd section.

I consider it to be an non restricted hunting rifle. Mine sports a 3-9x40 and no other accessories. I wouldn't say it is low quality, I just wouldn't attempt to beat a door down with it. But it sure is light. No reliability issues other than a few stovepipes until it was broken in. More accurate than a Mini 14 anyway.

Sorry I may not actually be qualified to say that, but I've found mine to be VERY accurate. Managed a 1" 3 shot group once and I suck LOL
From what I've read the Mini would have a hard time pulling that off but I can't say for sure. The thin barrel on the Canadian SU16 heats up pretty quick and your groups will open up when that happens but the first few shots are usually quite impressive.

I think they are $799 just about everywhere, I got mine a little cheaper barely used. I was really torn between the Mini and the SU but I went with the SU for the LAR15 magazines... but I think the real answer is to have both!
