Kenora Black Badge!

I just spent a great weekend in Kenora at the Lake of the Woods Gun Club running nine shooters through the Black Badge course.

These friendly folks were some of the most competent 'newbie' IPSC shooters I've seen. Many had previous training and all knew how to shoot A's at a good pace.

Congrats to all, thanks for the fun times & I hope to see you at our Manitoba matches. Also, congrats to IPSC Ontario for adding another great club to the ranks.

Nice job helping out our friends to the east raks. To all the new BB holders in Northwest Ontario, you are always welcome at Manitoba matches. Looking forward to seeing some new faces at the range.

In fact we have a match scheduled in 2 weeks (June 19), at the Selkirk range, about 35 minutes North of Winnipeg. Shooting should start around 9:00am., so get there about 8:30 to sign-up. Many start rolling in just after 8:00.

I know one of the guys that was on the course. He said it was a great time, and that the instruction was terrific.

Just a note on that match at Selkirk, it still needs a match director, so watch the schedule on the IPSC Manitoba website. There may be some changes if someone doesn't step up soon.
