Kensight novak sights - on a cz 75

Always liked the styling of Novak night sights. Recently stumbled across images of Kensight versions of them - both fixed and elevation-adjustable, with grip serrations on them.

Being that I have a CZ75 SP-01 Tactical, the meagre and over aggressive slide serrations could use a little extra something to grab on to, so these sights look perfect for what I'm aiming for. Yes they're a different cut than the Tactical allows so i'll have to modify the slide behind the dovetail to fit the rear sight.

Any experience from a CZ install? Is there any additional angling or shaving to make them fit? Or how about the 1911 crowd this sight is designed for? Do the adjustable versions come loose from handling them? The only reviews I found are for 1911 and complaining about some orders showing up without tritium inserts lol.

What I did with my cz97, which should use the same sights as your tactical, was purchase some ramped tritium sights from czcustom. I absolutely love them. As for wanting to have a better purchase to #### the pistol I was warned not to use the rear sight for a little extra grip during my black badge course for the reason that it would eventually fall out from using it as a poor mans slide racker and I would one day have to finish the shoot with out a rear sight. I put in a reduced power main spring in my shadow and shot around a thousand rounds through it and now it racks like a dream.

It looks like the sights czcustom seems to carry all go back so far they interfere with hammer manipulation. In fact the sights the previous owner installed on it are CZ custom Shadow Tac sights and it's a huge pain in the ass. Sure the sight radius is half an inch longer but at the cost of functionality. Not too tactical now! I can only get the very tip of my thumb on the hammer so I basically have to hold the thing with both hands just to get a grip to #### it. Must be a different hammer on the Shadow vs Tactical.

Just in case I'm confused, can you pm me a link to the rear sight you picked, in case it is what I'm after?

Got mine from the 'shooting edge' site sponsors....
LPA 3 dot sights...tiny amount of filing to fit....could have forced them, just didn't want to, and held in place with 2 Allen key bolts...might add some locktite...done...id post a pic, but I'm having the front site replaced(needed machining)by bcm custom gunsmithing..

I have the competition hammer on most of my cz pistols which hangs back a little further than the standard hammer.
