Decent article albeit a bit enthusiastic. do like the Kentuky rifles though and it is one type of american antique that is not ridiculously over priced unlike plain quaker furniture.

I lasted about 1/2 way through it; thought it was about 1/2 fact and 1/2 fiction. For example saying that converting to percussion does not change the value of a rifle which was originally flint (cuts the price in 1/2 or more) or saying that tiger maple does not grow in Europe (as opposed to walnut was preferred in Europe)
