So I'm in the market for something to give me temp and density altitude to put into StrelokPro. I'm not as concerned about ability to measure the wind as I feel like I could always just get a cheap wind reader if needed. My intended use for it is shooting Tactical Teacher's clinics out to 600m as well as the PRS shoot at Meaford. Does anyone have any experience with the DROP D3? I feel like for $150 its a pretty safe bet but I figured that I should check what others have to say.

I already have StrelokPro which was about $20. Now I’m just looking at the DROP D3 for $150 as a tool for measuring DA and temp since I don’t have a full Kestrel and I’m not sure if it’s worth spending a fair bit more just to be able to read wind at the firing point.

I have a Weatherflow Bluetooth that pairs up well with Strelok and Ballistic Arc. Wind, temp, humidity, station pressure, DA. All in for less than $150

I ended up buying the D3 and testing it out at the Meaford PRS shoot this last weekend. It worked well when paired to StrelokPro. I zeroed with it and during the weekend I would say it was spot on for my elevations. The wind was causing a lot of grief so it would change my elevation slightly. For $140 from Amazon I'm quite pleased with the purchase.
