Does anyone know if regular (ie not keymod) picatinny rails can be attached to the keymod system as long as the holes line up? Or can this damage the keymod system?

You can buy keymod nuts from some dealers which would allow mounting with no damage

Knights Armament makes picatinny rail in various lengths that attach directly to the Keymod. Check out One Shot Tactical as they carry KAC and do have stock.....no, I don't work for them ��
This is the safest way to accomplish this without damaging the keymod rail.
