Pulled my TMS out of the case the other day to give it a good cleaning and checkup and discovered that sometime during the last shoot I atended and thet time between pulling the gun out of the case for an end of season go through my new kick-eez pad had split... So clean it almost looks like a knife cut. I never noticed at the shoot that weekend or any other shoots previous so I assume it cracked and let go while sitting in the case? Can this be glued together or should I just replace the pad?

I doubt there's any adhesive that will not eventually fail. I'd change the pad and be done with it.

I've decided to do just that..

That's a strange way for a pad to fail since there should be no stress on it in that direction.
Contact cement would probably be your best bet but BJP is likely correct in saying that any adhesive will probably eventually fail.

No kidding, that was my thoughts too when I saw it??

I had one split through a screw hole. Only on for a couple years.

This pad was just installed new this spring on a RAD1A butt, looking at my spreadsheet I keep there has been 4375 rounds fired through that gun since the install...kind of a fast failure for a pad advertised as a trap pad. I may write to kick-eez and see if they offer to replace the pad.

Well that was FAST! I wrote Kick-Eez after posting a few minutes ago. They answered my email in under two minutes asking for pics of the pad. I sent pics and they answered immediately asking for my shipping address and said a new pad is on it's way today at no charge for the pad or the shipping! Talk about great customer service and support! Unheard of in this day and age and I expressed that to the employee I was corresponding with thanking her and praising them for their service. They have a loyal customer in me for sure now.
